About Blue Libellule Soaps & Such

If by chance you have taken the time to read the ingredients list on any commercial bar of soap, shampoo bottle or laundry soap box, you know why we have started to make soap at Blue Libellule.

We are not this old, but we remember when, as children, we washed from head to toes with the same bar of soap. Then, we used that same soap to wash the dishes and the floor and our clothes. It cleaned us well and was good for the planet too.

Over the years, the use of detergents and antibacterial products made us forget the wonderful thing soap is. It is easy to make, to use and is biodegradable. It cleans conditions and leaves everything feeling and smelling fresh, even when it is unscented.

At Blue Libellule, we aim to get everyone back to using soap, for our good and the good of Earth. We offer natural liquid and bar soap, shampoo bars and  laundry soap. Our product is scented only with essential oils, for the scent and their properties. Our shea butter soap is our flagship product, but we offer a variety of soaps for all tastes and budgets.

Also, should you want to make your own, we offer workshops, and are only as far as you phone or computer for any help you should need. We would like everybody to be using soap, and we know that there aren’t enough of all the soapers in the world to supply it to all.
